Week Eleven

As rightly predicted, my triumphant surge of form in October has precipitated a new entry in the Fantasy Blog of Truth. A magnificent total of 63 points in October jump me up to fourth in the table. Robert Pires finally got off his lazy arse to score a couple of goals (and take the world's worst penalty) and Andy Cole started scoring as well. Even my purchase of a Wigan defender has proved wise.

Tim was second in the month, his 44 points helped mostly by Middlesborough man-mountain Yakubu scoring 14 points. Everyone else was pretty much of a muchness, though special mention must go to Dave, whose team got 27 points last month - 24 of them from Frank Lampard, 3 from everyone else put together.

Overall, Ben still leads the way on 148 (Drogba and Murphy still doing the business), 17 ahead of John, with Mark B another 13 points back. At the bottom is Loz (of course), with Dave and Tall Mark trying (and failing) to not keep him company.
